Energy Upgrade California® is a statewide initiative dedicated to uniting Californians in achieving our state’s energy goals. My role was to create storyboards and keyframe sequences for an advertisement that would air across Southern California.
The creative approach was to design visuals with a hand-drawn feel, as the bear character would be “drawing” while narrating the story. The concept originally began on a chalkboard before transitioning to a whiteboard, but the heart of the idea remained the same — only the execution evolved.
